Mr Anh Thai, Tran is General Director at Vietnam Power Resource Partners, the position he held since 2006. From 1985 to 2005 he worked for Vietnam Electricity (EVN) as Senior Engineer, Director of Network (T&D) Department and Director of National Load Dispatch Center where Mr. Tran was responsible for Power System Studies, Power System and Power Market designs, specification, implementation and operation. Mr. Tran joint Applied Technical Systems (ATS) as Chief Technical Officer, Project Director and Vice General Director from 2005 up to the present time where he is responsible for Company Strategy and System Architect of the integrated protection, control and automation systems manufactured by ATS for Vietnam Power System. Mr. Tran established Vietnam Power Resource Partners (Vietnam PRP) since Nov. 2006. Vietnam PRP is providing consulting services for Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV) in Power market settings and Independent Power Producers, like AES, Petro Vietnam (PVN), Thang Long Power Company...in the whole cycle of their investment, from technical and financing due diligent, grid connection impact studies, tariff calculation models, Power Purchase Agreement to the commercial operation of the project life time. His Vietnam PRP has an elite database of Vietnam Power Sector to server his client. Mr. Tran graduated from Hanoi University of Technology (Vietnam) in Power Engineering in 1985 and he is a member of IEEE since 1997.
