Bio
Nis Jespersen holds a BBA degree from Institut Superieur de Gestion, Paris, and a MSc degree in Software Engineering from the IT University of Copenhagen. He has worked with IBM since 2003, primarily in the role of Consulting IT Architect. For the past five years he has worked entirely with Energy & Utilities clients, and has held lead roles on some of IBM's most cutting edge Smart Grid project, including DONG Energy (Denmark), EnergyAustralia (Australia). He has also supported key Smart Grid projects at clients including KEPCO (S.Korea), Eandis (Belgium), Fortum (Sweden/Finland). Today he is a member of IBM's Global Center of Competency within E&U, providing subject matter expertise to teams worldwide. His project experience spans operational systems, back end architecture, engineering and planning, and research-driven development of electrical-related algorithms. He has gained practical experience applying the CIM on projects as different in nature as data storage, information exchange, data mining, governance and strategy.
