Taehyen Kang received BS and MS degrees from Seoul National University of Technology and Korea University, Seoul, Korea in 1994 and 1996 respectively in addition to MBA from California State Univ. San Jose, CA and MSEE from Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA. He is currently working for Ph.D. at GA Tech.

He worked for Network Management, ABB Inc. and Software Solutions Group, GE Energy as power systems engineer in the areas of power system applications development and transmission and distribution network modeling for the electric energy markets and smart grids as well as project management. He’s currently working for CAISO as a consultant in the areas of renewable resource integration and various market product developments for the CAISO energy markets.
